For Volunteers

Welcome a new face into the circle of mothering - Love up a new mama and her baby!

Share your time, caring, and wisdom with a mama and baby in your area through a home visit with Good Beginnings of Central Vermont. Being supported and held by a strong mothering community in the early months can shape and color a woman≠s parenting experience for the better. You can help combat isolation and post partum depression simply by connecting with a local family.

As the Volunteer Coordinator for Good Beginnings of Central Vermont, I am actively seeking volunteers in all Central Vermont towns to spend a little time loving up our new mothers. If you are a mom of a toddler or preschooler, you can be a fantastic resource for a woman at the beginning of her journey. Volunteer training is provided on a number of topics.

Think you know a dream volunteer? Your next door neighbor? Your mother-in-law? Connect them with us today!

Know a mama of a baby from newborn to three months old in need of a visit? Or a mama-to-be who is close to birthing? Contact us and we can help give her and her little one a very "Good Beginning".

With gratitude-
